SEQ4.2: 4-step CV sequencer with reset (4HP - partial build)
SEQ4.2: 4-step CV sequencer with reset (4HP - partial build)
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a PCB/panel set for the SEQ4.2 sequencer module.
All surface-mount components have been pre-soldered - it is up to you to provide the necessary through-hole componentry to complete the build. These are updated boards which have been fabricated by a PCB assembly service - the hand-built modules are now sold out.
The following will be required:
- 1x Eurorack power header (2x5)https://www.yorkmodular.co.uk/products/2x5-idc-male-box-header-eurorack-power-header-pack-of-5?utm_source=copyToPasteBoard&utm_medium=product-links&utm_content=web🔗 - the chevron on the silkscreen corresponds to -12V
- 4x Alpha RK097N pots (or compatible) - 50k linear taper recommended.
- 3x PJ301M-12 (aka THONKICONN) jacks (or compatible)
-
4x 3mm LEDs - I recommend Vishay TLHR4400🔗 LEDs, as they have a voltage drop of only 2V. The reference designator is placed on the ground side of the LED footprint.
-
4x knobs to suit - micro-knobs will be your best bet. Davies-style knobs will fit, but clearance will be extremely tight. Anything with a diameter of over 13mm plain won't work.
- An 8 or 9-volt TO-92 voltage regulator (7808/7809)🔗 - assuming you use red LEDs this will give you a working voltage range of around 0-6V.
- Power cable and mounting hardware (M3x6 machine screws will suffice)
In operation, the module clock will require at least 5V in order to trigger - this goes a long way to aiding noise immunity, although be aware that some LFOs aren't quite strong enough (my QuiteSmallLFO 🔗works nicely, though)
US CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: since no additional assembly is done, the country of origin of these boards is China. Complete modules will have the COO listed as the United Kingdom as I do all the necessary assembly and testing prior to shipping.
