Another blast from the past - this is a voltage-controlled switch module built around the DG419 SPDT switch IC. You can think of it as being an ON-ON version of the 2WAY manual switch, except that it's controlled via a logic input.
You can use it to switch one source between two destinations, or switch between two sources routing to a single destination - it does, to coin a phrase, swing both ways.
Switching is handled via logic-level signal on the SWITCH jack, and there are a couple of LED indicators on the 'outputs' so you can see what's going where. Finally, if you're curious about the unpopulated footprint on the board it was meant for a 5V Zener diode which turned out to be unnecessary.
Note also that this module probably won't fit in silly shallow cases - figure on having at least 40mm of depth available once the power cable is connected.
There are plans to resurrect this module in a 2HP format at some point, but for now here are a couple of throwbacks from the bits box (working throwbacks, though)
