A dual offset generator and/or voltage source.

Use it to generate a steady voltage, or to apply a DC offset to another signal (eg. you have a through-zero VCO but want to offset the signal such that the output is always positive).

Both inputs are normalled together - there will always be a voltage present at the output, even if there is nothing connected to the input; this is ideal if you just need a variable voltage source. Otherwise, any input voltage will be offset, but note that clipping will occur if you exceed the maximum voltage handled by the op-amps (usually around +/-10V for TL-series chips)

This is an updated version of the old 4HP dual offset module - the principal difference is that the module is now 2HP wide. Power is provided via a JST-to-Eurorack adapter (included)

WHAT DOES IT DO? Simply put, this module will allow you apply a constant voltage offset (or bias) to an incoming signal - the level of the offset is controlled by a potentiometer - one per channel.

This sort of thing can be useful if you have, say, a 10V peak-to-peak (ie. -5V -> +5V) through-zero VCO whose signal you want to feed into a module which rejects negative voltages - using this module you can apply a +5V offset to the signal so that it varies from 0-10V instead. In addition, it can act as a constant voltage source if there is nothing plugged into an input jack.
