A VCF finally hits the line-up
Filters don't need to be massively complex to sound good, and it's amazing the sort of noises you can get out of an op-amp and a bunch of passive components.
There's an input and output, of course, plus a CV input with an attached attenuator which feeds into a pair of vactrols, which is where the magic happens. With a bit of care, you can get everything from nice filter sweeps all the way up to squonky acid-bass and beyond.
In a difference from previous runs of the module, these have sockets for the vactrol limiting resistors and the main filter capacitor. A filter capacitor (330pF) is supplied, whilst the two resistor sockets are unpopulated - you can alter the filter response by fitting a suitable resistor in one or both of the sockets (values from 100k to 1Mohm work well, but experiment ...)
The module is supplied with a panel fabricated from FR4 fibreglass; the finish is dark grey with gold ENIG lettering - mounting hardware and a power cable are also supplied
