Eagle-eyed viewers will have noticed that I have started fitting my complete modules with panels fabricated from FR4, otherwise known as flame-retardant fibreglass, otherwise known as the stuff that PCBs are made from.
Although this was borne out of necessity due to my usual panel fabricator shutting up shop at very short notice, the panels have been well received so they will be available in small runs for people who either want to give their old perspex-panelled modules an upgrade or to complement a DIY build. The end result is something that is marginally more expensive than acrylic but a lot less expensive than aluminium or steel.
Generally speaking, panels will have a matt grey finish with gold ENIG lettering.
RUNS OF STANDALONE PANELS WILL BE LIMITED - due to the ongoing health-related shenanigans I am prioritising panel production for stock items. If there's a panel you'd like that isn't listed here, contact me and we may be able to sort something out.
